ee14187e2d - fixed missing cache covers for real nand channels if you add covers manually and do reload cache. Thanks blackb0x!
- fixed crash when pressing 1/x or 2/y buttons (change coverflow layout) when no covers are loaded.
- fixed hiding the wait loading animation when using source menu on start.
- fixed exiting source menu on start via B button so covers show properly.
- fixed using homebrew icon.png's with transparency as covers for smallbox by restoring some old code I didn't understand. But ... sometimes the icon.png textures (.wfc) are saved as empty black boxes.
- if you get an empty black box for your homebrew cover image you can select the cover and click the 'X' delete icon. it will not delete your homebrew app but will instead delete the cover texture file (.wfc). Then you can do reload cache and hopefully your cover will be fixed.
- tried fixing cacheing covers after downloading them. works sometimes. It's a low free mem2 error if using rhapsodii shima theme and having a lot of games. if covers do not appear after downloading then i suggest rebooting wiiflow and doing reload cache first thing or switch to wiiflow's default theme and then download the covers and then switch back to rhapsodii shima theme.

19c11f1c85 - reverted change in 5.4.1 that made video output a little blurry.
- reverted change in 5.4.0 that may be the reason some users have issues loading games from sd card. especially on vWii.

- removed dutag
- changed optimmization from from -os to -o2 to hopefully compile better.
- other minor code cleanup.

53a06c0f8d - fixed cacheing scummvm covers
- fixed setting scummvm cover's color via plugin
- now scummvm list is cached like all the other lists. but still does not use custom titles or titles from the plugins data xml.
- fixed the random bug where covers sometimes were not cached.
- fixed minor memory leaks via gametdb.cpp
- fixed an issue with using custom backgrounds via source menu.
- added the ability to move to next and previous game while on game info menu by using the controllers '+' and '-' buttons
- added the ability to launch a game directly from the game info menu by pressing 'A' on the controller.
- added the abilty to launch super smash bros melee via nintendont slippi. manually edit wiiflow_lite.ini by adding use_slippi=yes under [GAMECUBE]. google nintendont slippi and slippi project to learn about it.
- upped to version 5.4.1

33859d443b - Now only disc 1 of double disc Gamecube games is added to gamelist. Disc 2 are skipped and no longer need to be hidden with a hidden category. double disc games will ask on launch which disc to use. 2019-12-15 16:02:10 -06:00

c33e07076d - code cleanup so custom banners and snapshots and game info snapshots all work nicely with each other.
- fixed source menu/flow to remember tier filenames and the last selected button from each tier. tier names and button numbers are saved in wiiflow_lite.ini under [SOURCEFLOW] so when you return to wiiflow everything will be as it was when you left.

b7024400cd - added frames for mini banner and snapshot image. wiiflow uses a blank texture so they are invisible but theme makers can now use [GAME/SNAP_FRAME] and [GAME/BANNER_FRAME] to add a frame texture. [GAME/USER4] is no longer used as a banner frame.
x, y, and width, height values suggestions for 8 pixel wide frame. if its thicker or thinner you will need to adjust.

snapshot = 377, 23, 262, 186 ( a little taller )

1384e475b0 - snapshots are now centered to fit inside the mini banner frame if theme available. plugin snapshot changes:
[GAME/SNAP] is the snapshot. width and height are just random numbers. wiiflow sets those. and the texture is of course set by wiiflow. the x and y are the upper left and the only thing to worry about.

[GAME/OVERLAY] is the snapshot overlay for handhelds. same info as [GAME/SNAP]

[GAME/SNAP_BG] is used for 2 things.
1. the dimensions of the window inside the frame. (x,y,width,height) used so wiiflow can center the snapshot.
2. the texture of the window inside the frame. wiiflow has it set to a transparent image. but you can make and use a solid colored image if you like.

the frame is still [GAME/USER4]

9d3c65cf9d - added snapshot display for current game. snapshot is displayed where the mini banner normally shows. use wiimpathy's database files and images for the snapshots. note: the width and height is 25% smaller than the one shown in the game info menu. 2019-09-30 11:07:04 -05:00

5019fb6c99 - added auto hide buttons option for main screen and game selected screen. when set to no those buttons don't hide and display all the time. defaults to yes so buttons hide unless the pointer is in a specified zone of the screen. 2019-07-10 06:59:30 -05:00

0787670dea - added options to copy real nand config and miis to emunand on page 3 of emu nand settings. if set to 'on' then when you launch a emu nand game sysconfig and/or miis from real nand will be copied to emu nand before launching the game. this solves issue #90 to keep your controllers synced in emu nand mode. 2019-05-06 09:13:18 -05:00

a4968a91ac - now platform ini is loaded on wiiflow start. instead of constantly loading and unloading it. platform ini is now used for gameinfo, coverflows, blank cover titles, and more.
- fixed some missing cleanup when leaving wiiflow. in particular the pointer textures and closing the language ini.
- new way to handle the custom blank covers by Abz. blank covers now must go in wiiflow/boxcovers/blank_covers folder and must be named after their platform name via platform ini. they can also now be png or jpg.

f581b3f193 - added using platform ini to get the proper coverflow from the current coverflow ini. requires the updated platform ini and an updated coverflow ini.
- removed the hard coded sideflow and shortflow.
- fixed using custom backgrounds whenever returning back to the game selected screen.
- added custom background cleanup to free the memory used by them.

5dc8212037 - replaced homebrew button on main screen with categories button. new images thanks to Hakaisha. no more 'B' on favorites star.
- replaced adult only button on game selected screen with categories button.
- homebrew button is now restored as one of the quick launch buttons or accessible via source menu or plugin select menu.cpp
- adult only option now replaces the categories option of the game settings menu page 1 line 1.
- locking wiiflow no longer blocks homebrew access. you must use the adult only option for each homebrew app to block kids from accessing it.
- other minor code changes and fixes.

cef988d763 - sourceflow small_covers can now go in a subfolder with the same name as the theme. which makes them change when the theme is changed.
- added notification messages when you delete a cover or banner on manager cover banner menu.
- download cover menu changes: title is now 'Downloads'. removed 'missing' button and changed 'all' to 'download' because there was no difference between all and missing. it always downloads missing covers. in the future i plan to add custom banners download which will download all missing custom GC banners.

edit your music plugin ini. change the filetypes line to include .pls for example:

796a8d78f7 - added pages 7 thru 11 to main settings. for a total of 19 more settings you can now set without having to manually edit the ini file.
- removed the setting data_on_usb. now your dev:/wiiflow folder must be on the same device/partition as the apps folder. which i'm 99.9% sure most users do.
- added sd_only setting. no need to set it unless for some reason it gets set to true and you have usb hdd you want to use.

2daed253a4 - expanded fanart path chars from 64 to 164. should help with long rom names. thanks wiimpathy.
- made the following fanart changes:
*fanart still auto displays
*only fanart shows. no cover and no game title and no buttons (play, back, favs, etc.)
*to stop and exit fanart press 'a' while pointer hand is on screen. if pointer hand is not on screen pressing 'a' launches game. pressing 'b' exits game selected screen and returns to normal coverflow. d-pad right and left still go to next or previous game.
*fanart can either play once or loop.
when play once is done it automatically clears fanart and returns to cover view.
with looping it will restart the fanart. looping is good for slideshows of game images.

looping and play once is determined by the setting "show_cover_after_animation". if set to no then looping is enabled. set to yes for only once.

b93ace2b6b -added optional gamesound for each plugin rom/game. they must be mp3, wav, or ogg. put them in wiiflow/gamesounds/{coverfolder} with same name as the game including the extension. example:
sd:/wiiflow/gamesounds/snes9x/donkey kong country.zip.mp3

f1398ea406 - made fanart to work with plugins.
plugin fanart goes in wiiflow/fanart/{coverfolder}/{gametitle}

replace {coverfolder} with the coverfolder= that's set in the plugin's ini file.
replace {gametitle} with title of the rom file without the extension.

the fanart ini file must match the {gametitle} you used for the folder.

0d213f9b0e -added the ability for users to set the default/global gamecube settings for devo emu memcard, nintendont emu memcard, and nintendont wii u widescreen. under main settings pg 3 gc default settings. this means users will no longer have to manually edit wiiflow lite ini in a text editor for those settings. 2018-10-15 09:23:34 -05:00

66c17c023c -removed sd only arg and replaced it with eisteinx2's code to detect sd only. with slight change because mountall() is called in other places.
-fixed font glyph x spacing so letters like W no longer bleed into or look like they connect to the next letter. also fixes letters like j's. thanks to usbloader gx freetypegx code.
-changed some font sizing. but had to make button fonts in bold. if not bold then sometime's the text would fade out and be hard to read. something to do with the wiiflow button images being transparent. has no effect on non transparent buttons like carbonik abz theme.
-fixed wfl so time and date in games is correct. thanks aphirst!
-now unloading theme.ini from mem after all buttons and labels are created. this is possible since coverflow.ini is now seperate from theme.ini.
- other minor code changes and rem's put in for easier code decyphering.

4a566375e0 -added flash screen image to appear before wiiflow wait animation. i hope the image isn't too big to cause problems with wfl.
-added 'noflash' arg for meta.xml if you don't want the flash screen image to appear. and no i can't make it load a image from a folder. it must be compiled in the code.
-added 'sdonly' arg for meta.xml for those of you that have everything on SD and hate the 20 second wait for wiiflow to search for usb devices. thanks einsteinx2!
-added meta.xml args support. meaning when a homebrew boot.dol or elf is launched the meta.xml (if exist) will be read for arguments and those args sent when the app is launched. this fixes the issue of custom wait images when changing themes.
-added spanish translation file 'spanish.ini'. thanks to ravmn for sending it to me!
-other minor changes, mainly remarks added for myself.

493e4dc8a9 -fixed issue with emu nand path string.
-recoded cheats download. it should work but geckocodes.org now uses some browser check which prevents downloads on wii. either manually download via pc or get abz's master pack which contains a lot of cheats.
-added comments and minor changes to wait message code.

52ea6f6b99 -fixed downloading covers. it works for me although occasionally stalls during downloading a cover. it could be my home network dropping the connection. Also i didn't try downloading more than 4 covers.
-fixed downloading wiitdb.zip.
-downloading banners should work but no one has them hosted anywhere. larsenv has them hosted on github but its https which doesn't work. it must be http.
-downloading cheats broken still.

33a6fdb893 -added einsteinx2's gamecube settings for playing gamecube banner sounds and gamecube default sound. with these you can enable/disable the gc banner sound when selecting a game.
play_banner_sound and play_default_sound in the [GAMECUBE] section of wiiflow_lite.ini
